Privacy Policy

Startup13 ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you visit startup13.co or engage us as a client, how we use it, and your rights over it.

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the studio:

• Contact data you submit via the contact form, email or WhatsApp (name, email, company, message).
• Project data shared during paid engagements — covered separately by our Master Services Agreement and NDA.
• Usage data collected automatically by our analytics provider: anonymised IP, page views, referrer, device type. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

2. How we use it

We use your data to:

• Reply to your enquiry and deliver the services you've engaged us for.
• Improve the website (which pages people read, where things break).
• Comply with legal obligations (tax records, audit trails).

We do not sell your data, ever. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.

3. Where it lives

Customer data lives in our infrastructure: Google Workspace (mail, drive), Stripe (billing), and our internal CRM hosted on AWS in the EU. We list our sub-processors in our DPA, available on request.

4. Cookies

We use one essential cookie (session) and one analytics cookie (Plausible, anonymised, no cross-site tracking). No advertising cookies. No third-party trackers.

5. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can:

• Ask what data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Withdraw consent at any time (this won't affect work already done under contract).
• File a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

6. Retention

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months. Engaged-client data is retained per the MSA, typically 7 years for tax/audit reasons.

7. Children

Our services are B2B. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, email privacy@startup13.co and we will delete it.

8. Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date and, where required, email registered clients.
